The Alcort Sailfish, built from 1945 to 1962, is a 3.5-meter lateen-rigged sailboat with a daggerboard hull, designed by Alexander Bryan and Cortland Heyniger. Originally constructed from plywood and available as a kit, its popularity surged after a *Life* magazine article, leading to increased production. The boat displaces 37 kg and has a 0.8-meter beam and 0.7-meter draft.
