What this video covers

The 2024 Miami International Boat Show spans four distinct venues, including dedicated areas for sailboats, powerboats, superyachts, and a convention centre for accessories.1:20 The sailboat section features a Lagoon 51, which offers a flybridge accessible from both port and starboard, a U-shaped saloon, and a six-cabin layout with dry heads.2:52 The powerboat section highlights the Aquila 54, a power catamaran featuring a full-beam master cabin, an enclosed flybridge helm with glass windows, and a hydraulic transom lift for dinghy storage.14:27 Selden displays an in-mast furling system utilising NEMA 2000 cables and winches with offset ribs designed to prevent rope jumping under load.8:00 Navigar showcases a model of the Island Spirit 525 electric catamaran, which includes a 4,700-watt solar array and a walk-through transom.2:34 Navigating the show requires significant transit time between venues via water taxi or shuttle, complicating attempts to visit all locations in a single day.19:43
