Qué cubre este vídeo
Khiara and Adam perform annual engine maintenance on their boat, *Millennial Falcon*, while anchored near Grand Cayse, St. Martin. During the replacement of the engine’s seawater pump impeller, Khiara overtightens and snaps a mounting bolt head off inside the housing. To extract the broken bolt, Adam removes the water pump assembly and uses a Dremel tool to cut a slot into the exposed bolt stub, allowing him to back it out with a flathead screwdriver. The crew sources replacement bolts and a new gasket from a local marine shop to complete the repair. The maintenance session also includes changing the engine oil, oil filters, and fuel filters. The crew explains the function of the seawater impeller in the engine's cooling system, noting that a failed impeller prevents seawater from circulating through the heat exchanger, leading to rapid engine overheating. Careful torque application prevents bolt shearing during reassembly.
