The Colvic Ltd. Sailor 26 is a masthead sloop with a twin keel, designed by Ian L. Anderson and built by Colvic Craft Ltd. from 1980 to the present. Colvic molded the hulls and sold them to other finishers, including Atlanta Marine, which marketed the boat as the ATLANTA 25/26. The boat measures 8.2 meters LOA, with a 2.7-meter beam, 1.1-meter draft, and displaces 2721 kg. Aboard *Sailing Puffin*, a free Colvic Ltd. Sailor 26 acquired without an engine, the owner discovered widespread water intrusion, saturated deck core, and misaligned bulkheads, necessitating a major structural refit.0:14 The refit involved unstepping the mast, removing interior headlining, filling seven through-hull fittings with epoxy, and addressing a seized exhaust skin fitting.0:01 The owner also found dezincification in the propeller, leading to plans for an electric motor conversion.8:16 The project includes rebuilding the chain locker lid and companionway hatch, repairing pulpit and forestay attachment points, and replacing all running rigging.6:02
