The Lagoon 410 is a 12.4-meter fractional sloop catamaran with a twin keel hull, designed by Van Petheghem, Lauriot-Prevost, and Van Peteghem, and built in France by Beneteau and CNB from 1997 to 2006. It has a beam of 8.0 meters, a draft of 1.2 meters, and displaces 7,239 kg. The Lagoon 410 replaced the US-built Lagoon 42 and was later updated as the Lagoon 410-S2. Aboard *Sailing Suria*, the crew sails their Lagoon 410 S2 *Suria* across the Atlantic, from Germany to Greece, and through the Madeira Islands, covering 3,555 nautical miles.7:44 They manage maintenance tasks such as clearing a blocked holding-tank drain, replacing a watermaker run capacitor, and sealing deck-to-cabin transitions to prevent leaks.10:28 The crew upgrades the solar power system with new cabling and custom 3D-printed cable glands.17:21 They use an Anker-Easy app to monitor anchor position and detect drag during 50-knot storms.19:26 The crew navigates narrow channels, secures the vessel with land lines in crowded bays, and carefully selects sand patches for anchoring to avoid seagrass.5:37 They winter the boat in protected anchorages like Porto Heli, Greece, and perform seasonal preparations such as flushing the watermaker and removing sails.9:28
