Ce que couvre cette vidéo

To accommodate a new diesel heater installation, the crew of the *Millennial Falcon* is redesigning the saloon by replacing existing swivel chairs and a drop-down table with a custom, full-length couch featuring integrated storage.0:08 While docked in Oban, the project involves constructing a wooden frame from marine-grade plywood, which is cut to fit the non-square, bespoke dimensions of the boat’s interior.Watch The team uses stencils to template the outward-facing surfaces, then planes the wood to achieve a flush fit against the frame.0:36 To maintain a consistent finish, they are sealing internal surfaces with white paint and preparing exterior panels for a final varnish.11:11 The design includes a modified access door repurposed from the original furniture and an ottoman that serves as both a storage unit and a modular extension for the seating area.6:15 This configuration aims to improve ergonomics at the chart table, provide a transient sleeping berth, and increase seating capacity for dining.16:18
