Johan and Malin continue the construction of their 50-foot sailboat, having reached the stage where all temporary internal frames and support stands are removed from the hull.0:06 The hull exhibits sufficient stiffness to proceed without the temporary supports, provided additional bracing remains in the bow, stern, and between the cradle boxes.10:02 The next phase of construction involves rough-sanding the interior to remove epoxy squeeze-out, filling screw holes and gaps with thickened epoxy, and applying three layers of fiberglass lamination.10:30 Following lamination, the build will focus on constructing a keel grid consisting of two lengthwise stringers and 10 floors to manage keel-generated forces, followed by the installation of bulkheads and interior components.11:23 To facilitate this work, the crew organized their workshop by building sturdy storage shelves from scrap wood.6:17 Outside the boat-building project, the family manages gardening tasks at their farm, including harvesting potatoes and addressing issues with slugs and invasive weeds.7:24
