Ce que couvre cette vidéo

Seven polycarbonate windows are glued into Sven Yrvind's small boat using Divinycell foam frames as the bonding substrate. The work is carried out by Petter, a friend of Yrvind's for roughly 15 years and an orthopedic engineer who previously renovated windows professionally — by his count, at least a thousand installations.5:06 Each window is positioned with a suction cup and held steady while adhesive cures; spacers in the tighter sections require extra care due to cramped access.1:29 A pull-test after installation confirms the bond: Petter attempts to dislodge a window by hand and cannot.6:14 When the joint finally fails under extreme force, the Divinycell cell substrate breaks before the glue line does, demonstrating that the adhesive bond to polycarbonate exceeds the foam's own structural strength.6:46 With all seven windows in place, the boat moves one step closer to launch.
