The crew completes the ceiling finish on the pilot house, installing removable panels to allow future access to deck hardware such as stoppers and winches.25:10 They also finalize the installation of a manual adjustable table pedestal, which converts the seating area into a double berth.22:03 To secure the pedestal base, the team laminates three layers of 450-gram fiberglass mat, providing a solid foundation for the mounting screws.20:16

Separately, the crew refurbishes several portlights by replacing the original rubber gaskets with a similar profile sourced from a rubber supply shop in Osasco.4:36 They use contact cement to bond the new gaskets, ensuring a tight fit to prevent water ingress.6:02 For structural bonding of wood components to fiberglass, the team employs a hybrid method using both epoxy and polyester resin, applying a preliminary resin coat to the wood to ensure proper adhesion before bonding.13:17 The project concludes with the ceiling panels and table mechanism fully installed and leveled.25:00
