O que este vídeo aborda

The Hunter Legend series offers a budget-friendly alternative to expensive modern production sailboats, providing performance and comfort features typically found in higher-priced vessels. The 1987 Hunter Legend 37 features a 13-foot beam, a fractional rig with an adjustable backstay, and a linear island bed in the aft cabin. Unlike later Hunter models equipped with the B&R rig and no backstay, the Legend series maintains a sail plan capable of competitive racing while offering a spacious, bright interior and a walk-through transom. The 37.5 model, a 1990s redesign, incorporates a full sugar scoop transom and moves the traveler to the coach top to improve cruising utility, though it carries a higher PHRF rating of 111 compared to the original 96. These boats provide a balance of speed and liveability for approximately $40,000 to $70,000. Distinguishing between the performance-oriented Legend series and later, cruising-focused Hunter models is essential for buyers seeking a capable racer-cruiser.
