What the fleet has seen

The Pacific Seacraft Crealock 34, as the fleet has seen it

Derived from the videos the fleet has analysed of this model. ▶ marks open the moment aboard.

The Pacific Seacraft Crealock 34 is a William Crealock-designed cutter-rigged sailboat with a long keel, built by Pacific Seacraft from 1979 to the present. It has an LOA of 10.4 m, a beam of 3.0 m, a draft of 1.5 m, and displaces 5443 kg. The Catalina 34, a different model, was produced from 1986 to 2001 in three iterations: the Mark I (1986–1995) with a closed transom, the Mark 1.5 with a cutout, and the Mark II (1994–2001) with an open transom and larger cockpit.1:43 The Catalina 34 has a PHRF of 144 and can develop weather helm in heavy air, which owners address with a flatter mainsail or an upgraded elliptical rudder.3:04 Its standard power is a 3-cylinder Universal 25 diesel, best paired with a 15x9 or 15x10 three-blade propeller to reduce vibration.7:21 The Catalina 34's aft cabin has limited ventilation, and early models may need alternator mount upgrades.5:42
