Design & history

The Hurley 18 was built by Hurley Marine until the company closed; moulds then passed to Russell Curnow of Penzance, Varne Yachts of Nottingham, and finally Weston Boats, which went out of business in 1986. Over 900 H18s were built altogether.

Production

Over 900 H18s were built. After Hurley Marine closed, moulds were sold to Russell Curnow of Penzance, Cornwall (built until about 1979), then bought by Varne Yachts of Nottingham, later taken over by Weston Boats, which went out of business in 1986.
