The King's CRUISER 33 is a Masthead Sloop designed by Pelle Pettersson and built by OY Fiskars AB from 1972 to 1978. It measures 10.3 meters LOA, with a 3.1-meter beam, 1.7-meter draft, and displaces 4300 kg.3:45 Aboard *Piratas Aderiva*, a King's CRUISER 33 undergoing restoration in Porto Santo, Portugal, the original 15-meter mast was found fractured and irreparable.2:15 The crew considered adapting a shorter 10-meter mast, which would require redesigning the deck and calculating new sail areas.5:25 The restoration also involved removing five through-hull seacocks, with the valves needing replacement due to oxidation while the through-hull fittings remained sound.10:26 Previous unauthorized modifications, such as cut structural channels for windows, complicated electrical cable routing.4:36
