Design & history

The US 30, also known as the Corinthian 30, was built by Corinthian Yachts (a division of Bayliner Marine Corp) using a hull partially derived from an earlier Peterson 1/2 ton design. The tooling was later recycled by Pearson Yachts as the Triton 30.

Class · Hull derived from a Peterson 1/2 ton design (IOR half-ton class lineage).

Design

Hull based in part on an earlier Peterson 1/2 ton design. Peterson had no role in the production of any subsequent boats and no royalties were paid.

Production

Built by Corinthian Yachts, a division of Bayliner Marine Corp. Bayliner's sailboat division extensively reused tooling from defunct builders. The US 30 has a different deck than the Buccaneer. Tooling was recycled once again for a short time by Pearson Yachts as the Triton 30.
