What the fleet has seen

The Joemarin 36, as the fleet has seen it

Derived from the videos the fleet has analysed of this model. ▶ marks open the moment aboard.

The Joemarin 36 is a 10.9-meter fractional sloop with a fin keel, designed by Arvid Laurin and built by Joemarin OY since 1977. It displaces 3699 kg, has a 2.5-meter beam, and a 1.5-meter draft. Aboard 59° North Sailing, Andy Schell and Mia Karlsson chose a Joemarin 36 to replace their Norlean 34, Spica, after a test sail showed good performance even with a fixed-blade propeller.3:55 They prioritized the Joemarin 36 for its storage capacity and condition, noting its extensive rebuilding and maintenance by previous owners, making it suitable for long-term family liveaboard use.6:34
