The Tartan Marine 4300 is a Masthead Sloop sailboat model, designed by Tim Jackett and built by Tartan Marine from 2008 to the present. It has a fin keel with a spade rudder, measures 13.1 meters LOA, 3.8 meters in beam, and displaces 9877 kg. The model offers two keel variants: a Beavertail Keel with a 1.78-meter draft and 10,796 kg displacement, or a Keel/Centerboard option with a 1.47-meter draft and 11,351 kg displacement. Tartan Yachts, the builder, has a history of producing durable, performance-oriented cruising sailboats like the 4300, despite navigating several ownership changes since its founding in 1971.4:24
