What this video covers
Ann-Elin Synnes and her partner sail their new catamaran, *Catfish*, through the islands near Phuket, Thailand. After spending a week cleaning and settling into the vessel, the crew departs from Ku Kei to explore local landmarks, including the Bat Cave and the Ice Cream Cave. They navigate the area using both engines and the jib, later deploying the screecher to reach James Bond Island early in the morning to avoid tourist crowds. The pair anchors overnight on a mooring ball before dinghying to a nearby island. They walk inland to locate a local restaurant, observing rubber tree latex collection and roadside fuel pumps along the route. Despite a local power outage at the restaurant, they secure a meal of larb and pad thai before returning to the beach to observe local crab activity at sunset.
