What this video covers
A couple expecting a baby in four weeks purchased a 35-foot 2008 Keystone Montana fifth-wheel trailer in Canada to serve as temporary housing.4:13 The trailer, advertised as 30 feet and leak-free, contained extensive water damage, wood rot, wasp nests, and rodent remains.3:21 The renovation requires replacing the subfloor and installing new flooring within a two-week window to ensure the unit is livable before the birth.6:08 The crew removed the original carpet and rotted subflooring, replacing the damaged sections with 5/8-inch plywood for improved strength and weight reduction.12:02 They selected a neutral-toned floating floor from Home Depot to avoid a gray aesthetic.9:50 The project involves structural repairs to the slide-out and interior painting, with the work schedule complicated by the pregnancy and the need to source materials in imperial measurements.6:25 The renovation remains ongoing as the couple prepares for the arrival of their child.
