What this video covers

Brittni and Ryan document the labor and delivery of their son, Oakley, while living in a fifth-wheel trailer during a renovation project. Brittni attempted to induce labor naturally by pumping colostrum, which successfully initiated contractions.1:18 The couple moved into a trailer near the hospital to remain close during the early stages of labor.1:02 While managing contractions, they continued finishing touches on the trailer’s shower installation.2:26 Upon reaching the hospital, Brittni was 5 centimeters dilated but experienced severe back labor due to the baby’s "sunny side up" (occiput posterior) position.4:49 After progressing to 8 centimeters, labor stalled as the baby became wedged in the birth canal, leading to fetal distress and a cervical swelling.7:04 The medical team performed a cesarean section, resulting in the successful delivery of a healthy infant.7:31 The couple reports a smooth recovery and plans to travel south with their newborn and their other child, Jackson, before returning to their boat.14:03
