What this video covers

Cliff Wilson, owner of Belize Sail On Vacations, operates a charter fleet of nine catamarans and occasional monohulls in Belize.1:22 The company integrates American Sailing Association (ASA) certification courses with vacation charters, focusing on experiential learning within the barrier reefs.0:45 Students practice coastal navigation by plotting courses on paper charts and performing daily engine checks.0:51 The shallow, reef-strewn waters require local knowledge for safe passage, providing hands-on experience for sailors preparing for bareboat chartering or future boat ownership.1:17 Charters include an onboard chef and opportunities for snorkeling, fishing, and wildlife viewing, such as feeding stingrays and observing turtles.1:03 The program emphasizes building confidence at the helm through repeated practice in a controlled, all-inclusive environment.1:35 During the Annapolis Boat Show, the company offers a 10% discount on charter bookings for ASA members.2:37
