What this video covers

Simon, Kim, and their guest Kyle sailed from San Juan, Puerto Rico, to Grand Turk in the Turks and Caicos Islands, a passage lasting two and a half days.0:26 The crew experienced light following winds and a moderate swell during the transit.0:29 Upon arrival, they anchored south-west of the island near the cruise ship dock to clear customs, but relocated to a deep-keel anchorage north of Cockburn Town due to limited infrastructure and a lack of available officials at the initial site.1:34 While anchored off Cockburn Town, the crew maintained less than a metre of clearance under the keel.3:13 Concerns regarding shifting winds and a forecast for strong weather prompted the crew to depart before exploring the island by golf cart as originally planned.3:09 During a brief walk through the town, the crew observed abandoned properties and dilapidated piers, but noted the local population was exceptionally welcoming.3:39
