Building a multi-waypoint route on a Raymarine Axiom Pro chart plotter allows sailors to pre-plan navigation through complex channels and around obstacles before getting underway.0:01 To create a route, zoom in to the desired area, tap and hold to place the first waypoint, and continue tapping to add subsequent points.1:02 The system allows users to scroll and zoom the chart while building, enabling precise placement of waypoints in the centre of channels or at safe distances from hazards.1:44 Once finished, the plotter provides real-time ETA and distance data to each waypoint and the final destination.9:02 Users can adjust the waypoint arrival radius in the alarm settings; a tighter radius, such as 40 metres, is recommended for close-quarters navigation to prevent premature route advancement.16:08 If a vessel passes a waypoint without triggering the arrival alarm, the system automatically prompts the user to advance to the next leg once the vessel passes the waypoint beam.17:28
