What this video covers

The 39-foot monohull *Stella* utilizes a custom stainless steel solar arch that doubles as davits for the tender and storage for surfboards and spearfishing gear. The arch supports three Jinko 590-watt solar panels, providing 1,750 watts of power, which eliminates the need for a generator. The electrical system features 1,200 amp-hours of lithium cells configured as four 300-amp-hour units, managed by Victron Energy battery balance boards and a MultiPlus 3000-watt inverter/charger. Each solar panel connects to an individual 100/50 Victron MPPT controller to ensure redundancy. A Cerbo GX unit centralizes monitoring for AC/DC loads, fuel, and water levels. For water production, the boat uses a Zenka 50 watermaker, which draws 240 watts to produce 50 liters per hour using a dual-pump system that allows for single-pump operation. To manage fuel quality in remote regions, the crew carries 160 liters of spare diesel in jerry cans secured to the deck. Professional installation of the electrical system was completed to maintain insurance compliance.
