What this video covers

The ProFurl C350 roller furling system consists of a rotating drum, aluminum foil extrusions, a halyard swivel, and internal plastic bushings that prevent the stainless steel forestay wire from wearing against the aluminum foils. The system attaches to the boat via a toggle and link plates, which allow for articulation and prevent hard spots on the rigging. During assembly, plastic bushings must be installed at every foil joint to isolate the wire from the aluminum. The halyard swivel features two independently rotating shackles, allowing the sail to furl while the halyard remains stationary to prevent halyard wrap. Foil extrusions are connected by joiners secured with set screws, which require Loctite to prevent loosening over time. At the top of the forestay, a unique ProFurl top wrap stop cap clamps onto the wire to provide a final safeguard against halyard wrap. Proper installation involves measuring the foils against the forestay, cutting them to length, and ensuring all internal bearings are correctly seated and secured.
