What this video covers

After an intense refit on a new boat in Canada, Maya and Aladino return to Sweden to sail Magic Carpet 1 — their original vessel — for a few weeks, with the explicit goal of arranging to sell her.0:58 The trip is framed as potentially the last voyage aboard Magic Carpet 1, prompting a mix of relief, excitement, sadness, and nostalgia on departure.1:24 The crew notes stronger current than expected on the first underway leg, suggesting they had not previously timed their departure to coincide with that tidal state.4:37 No major technical or navigational problems arise in this opening segment; the focus is the emotional weight of returning to a beloved boat they plan to let go, and a deliberate intention to sail without large goals or schedules for the duration of the visit.5:00 The location is Herräng, Sweden, described as scenic with sunshine despite forecast rain.4:31
