What this video covers

Garrett and Ruth haul their wooden boat, Rediviva, at a shipyard for maintenance, focusing on sanding, hull repairs, and painting. The crew addresses scaling on mild steel chain plates by cleaning and treating them with Ospo before painting. Garrett repairs worm damage in the hull using epoxy putty and addresses electrolysis on the gudgeons. The project requires a 12-hour push to complete topside and bottom painting before the wooden planks shrink from being out of the water. While working, the crew also repacks the boat's traditional stuffing box, which had been leaking excessively. They assist friends with re-stepping the mast on a 1951 Lapworth 32 named Dancer to maintain their schedule. Despite the extreme heat and heavy dust accumulation in the cabin, the crew completes the hull prep and multiple coats of paint to prepare the vessel for relaunch.
