What this video covers
Nate announces the DIY Solar Summit, a four-day hands-on electrical education event running September 11–14, 2025, at the Meadows parking lot at the base of Steamboat Resort in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.1:52 The event centers on 12 live builds in which van, motorhome, fifth-wheel, truck topper, and travel trailer owners install or upgrade their own electrical systems under direct guidance from the EXPLORIST life team and qualified volunteers, with all builds visible to general attendees.0:58 A main stage covers electrical theory and installation basics; breakout sessions add hands-on work with tools, wires, and components including wire crimping and device programming.0:34 A vendor area prioritizes vendors who can demonstrate their products through on-site instruction rather than straight sales.0:40 Camping passes cover the full four days and include a parking spot for any rig size; day passes are available but exclude evening fireside chats.5:31 Nearby hotels, Airbnbs, and a KOA serve attendees who prefer off-site lodging.6:44 Food trucks will be on site.4:59 Registration and early-bird pricing are live at events.explorist.life; the application process for the 12 live-build slots opens later via a dedicated announcement.2:05
