Butler and built by Catalina Yachts from 1976 to 2008, with over 6000 units sold, making it one of the most successful production sailing yachts. It has a length overall of 9.1 meters, a beam of 3.3 meters, a draft of 1.6 meters, and a displacement of 4626 kg. The model saw MK II and Mark III updates, with engine changes from Yanmar, Universal 5411, and Atomic-4 to 3-cylinder Universal M-25 diesels in the mid-1980s.
