The Elvstrom 32 is a Masthead Sloop designed by Elvstrøm and Jan Kjærulff, built by Gouteron (Chantier) from 1973 to the present. It has a Fin with rudder on skeg hull, measures 9.56 m LOA, 3.13 m beam, and 1.70 m draft, with a displacement of 3175 kg. The Elvstrom 32 was offered in both flush deck and coach roof models, and its hull design may be shared with the BES/Elvstrom 1/2 Ton, forming the basis for several other yachts. The Half Ton Classics World Championship in Hankø, Norway, features a diverse fleet of historic racing yachts, including modified designs like the 1972 Elvstrøm-designed *King One*, which has undergone significant changes to its rig, keel, and cockpit for IRC rating optimization.10:20 The 1979 Eivind Amble-designed *Norwegian Steam* also competes, utilizing a shortened mast and large spinnaker.2:50
