The Fast PASSAGE 39 is a William Garden-designed cutter-rigged sailboat built from 1976 to 1985, featuring a fin keel with a rudder on a skeg. It measures 12.0 meters LOA, with a 3.6-meter beam, 1.7-meter draft, and displaces 9525 kg. Philbrook's Shipyard initially built the model, offering it as kits or factory-finished boats. Philbrook's later sold the mold to Tollycraft Corp., which built nine additional boats after 1982. A Fast PASSAGE 39 named *Bubbles* completed a three-year global circumnavigation, departing from Nanny Cay in the British Virgin Islands in October 2009 and concluding in December 2012.4:53 The voyage included passages through the Panama Canal, across the Pacific and Indian Oceans, and around the Cape of Good Hope, with stops in South America and an excursion up the Amazon River.5:05
