The Dragonfly 40 is a 12.4-meter fractional sloop trimaran, designed by Jens Quorning and Steen Olsen and built by Quorning Boats since 2020. It features a swing-wing folding system that reduces its 8.4-meter beam to 4.0 meters for marina berthing. The model is available in four versions: Touring, Ultimate, C Ultimate Carbon, and C Performance, with the C versions utilizing carbon Pre-Preg autoclave construction for lighter displacement. The Touring version includes a self-tacking jib, while the Ultimate and C Performance versions offer progressively taller rigs and larger headsails. Aboard *El Viaje de Bohemia*, Tomas and Agus toured a Dragonfly 40 at the Newport Boat Show, noting its performance design and retractable amas.7:29 They characterized its narrow interior as suitable for weekend use rather than long-term liveaboard cruising.8:23
