The third-generation Pilot, designed by S&S specifically for Hinckley to be built of fiberglass. Available as sloop or yawl, with about a dozen built under license in South America for the Chilean Navy.

Design

S&S design #1727. Third generation Pilot, designed specifically for Hinckley for fiberglass construction. A previous Pilot (S&S design #1219) was first built of wood in 1956.

Production

Built of fiberglass for Hinckley. About a dozen boats built under license in South America for the Chilean Navy. 13 yawls delivered. 5 custom sloops with raised dog house delivered.
