The Henry R. Hinckley Pilot 35 is a masthead sloop or yawl, designed by Sparkman & Stephens as design #1727, and built by Henry R. Hinckley, Co. from 1962 to 1975.8:13 This third-generation Pilot was specifically designed for fiberglass construction, with a long keel hull, an LOA of 10.9 meters, a beam of 2.9 meters, a draft of 1.5 meters, and a displacement of 6214 kg. Five custom sloops were delivered with a raised dog house, and 13 yawls were delivered. About a dozen boats were built under license in South America for the Chilean Navy.7:51
