What the fleet has seen

The Bali 4.4, as the fleet has seen it

Derived from the videos the fleet has analysed of this model. ▶ marks open the moment aboard.

The Bali 4.4 is a 13.5-meter fractional sloop catamaran with twin keels, designed by Xavier Fay and Olivier Poncin, and built by Bali Catamarans since 2022. It has a beam of 7.4 meters, a draft of 1.3 meters, and displaces 13,600 kg. Aboard *Sailing Zephyr*, a new Bali 4.4 was delivered from the Annapolis Boat Show to the South River Marina, marking the crew's first experience operating a catamaran.6:27 The delivery involved navigating tight marina slips and avoiding crab pots.7:50 This particular Bali 4.4, destined for charter service in the British Virgin Islands, lacked a wind gauge and winch handles, requiring the crew to use electric winches for mainsail hoisting.10:38
