The Beneteau 46 is a Berret-Racoupeau-designed fractional sloop with a fin-and-bulb keel and spade rudder, built by Beneteau from 2007. Marketed as the Oceanis 46 outside the US, it displaces 10,565 kg with a 14.4-meter LOA and a 4.2-meter beam. Its standard draft is 2.0 meters, though a shallow-keel option reduces draft to 1.7 meters. The interior was designed by Nauta Design. The main sail measures 44.40 square meters, and a 140% genoa adds 49.10 square meters of sail area. An asymmetrical spinnaker option provides 120 square meters.
