What the fleet has seen

The Comfortina 39, as the fleet has seen it

Derived from the videos the fleet has analysed of this model. ▶ marks open the moment aboard.

The Comfortina 39 is a 39-foot cruising sailboat designed by Thomas Bern and built by Comfortbatar AB since 2007. This fractional sloop features a fin keel with a spade rudder, measures 11.8 meters LOA, 3.9 meters beam, and 2.0 meters draft, displacing 8200 kg. Its hull, constructed from hand-laminated fiberglass with a Divinycell sandwich in the topsides and deck, is designed for soft motion and solid performance. Aboard SVN solovelanet, sea trials in 12–14 knots of wind showed the boat reaching 6.8 knots close-hauled at 35 degrees apparent wind angle, and maintaining nearly 7 knots at a 90-degree apparent wind angle in 10 knots of wind.2:01 The deck layout prioritizes short-handed offshore sailing with a compact, protected cockpit, primary winches operable from inside or the rail, and 50-cm sidedecks.3:36 Belowdecks, the Comfortina 39 features a teak interior, an L-shaped galley, a dedicated chart table, and a full-sized head with a column shower.0:30 The aft double cabin has 1.65 meters of standing headroom, and the forward cabin offers two wardrobes and under-berth shelving.3:29
