The Csy 44 (MID-COCKPIT) is a 13.4-meter cutter-rigged sailboat designed by Frank Hamlin, Peter Schmitt, and Peter Schmit, built by CSY Yacht Corp. from 1977 to 1980. This model, with a fin keel and rudder on skeg, was primarily produced for the charter trade and was the most popular of three versions, also sold as the CYGNET 44 and ANTIQUA 44. It displaces 17,236 kg with a 2.0-meter draft.2:22 The Csy 44 (MID-COCKPIT) features a "walk-over" design, which complicates engine maintenance and requires crew to go on deck to access the aft section, according to *Be The Captain*.3:20
