What the fleet has seen

The F-24 MKII, as the fleet has seen it

Derived from the videos the fleet has analysed of this model. ▶ marks open the moment aboard.

The F-24 MKII is a 7.4-meter trimaran sailboat designed by Ian Farrier and built by Corsair Marine from 1994 to the present. It features a fractional sloop rig with a rotating spar, a daggerboard hull, and a displacement of 816 kg. The model has a 5.5-meter beam and a 1.4-meter draft. Its mainsail area is 22.5 square meters, and it carries an 11.3-square-meter blade jib and a 53-square-meter asymmetrical spinnaker. Aboard *Ravenswing*, a similar Farrier F-25C trimaran underwent a full restoration, including replacing metal fasteners with Dyneema lashing and installing custom carbon-fiber pipe rails.5:57 The owner also planned to replace metal shroud chain plates with carbon-fiber versions and fabricated a carbon bowsprit using G10 material for the screecher halyard and bobstay fittings.13:47 The F-24 MKII's sprit was lengthened in 1998, and an optional raised spinnaker halyard is available.
