What the fleet has seen

The Hh 50 is a performance cruising catamaran designed by Morrelli & Melvin and built by Hudson Yacht Group since 2020. This fractional sloop features a twin daggerboard hull, measuring 15.8 meters LOA, 7.4 meters beam, and displacing 11,499 kg. Its draft of 3.3 meters allows for good upwind performance. The Hh 50's sail plan includes an 81.13 m² main and a 37.8 m² self-tacking jib, with optional larger jibs and spinnakers available. Mark O'Leary, a Leopard 50 owner, compared the Hh 50 to his Leopard 50 and Balance catamarans, noting the Leopard's solid steel cross-beam as a structural differentiator and its interior volume as a trade-off against the Hh 50's performance focus.1:07
