What the fleet has seen

The Nautitech 40 Open, as the fleet has seen it

The Nautitech 40 OPEN is a 12.0-meter cruising catamaran designed by Marc Lombard and built by Nautitech Catamarans since 2015. It features a fractional sloop rig with a rotating spar, a 6.9-meter beam, and an 8501 kg displacement. Standard configurations offer four cabins and two heads, accommodating eight berths. The mainsail is approximately 63 square meters, complemented by a 28 square meter self-tacking jib. Nautitech Catamarans entered court-supervised restructuring in August 2026, despite a full order book through summer 2027, due to a liquidity crisis after repaying a government COVID loan and a strategic shift from charter to private owners.0:13 The company continues to operate and deliver vessels while seeking new ownership.7:05
