The vessel utilizes passive stabilizers, which remain effective at anchor without requiring generator power. During anchoring operations, the crew uses a Dyneema safety line to secure the anchor and marks the chain with zip-tie tags every five meters to track depth. The vessel also experiences a hydraulic steering issue where pressure bleeds back into the tank through the steering wheel when the autopilot engages. The crew plans to resolve this and replace the steering wheel during an engineering stop in Townsville.
