What this video covers

The Cannes Yachting Festival 2025 draws Thomas Nilsson to the south of France for what he describes as the world's largest outdoor boat show, held each September.0:11 The show features predominantly large, expensive production boats from major shipyards, contrasting with Düsseldorf in January, where the boats run smaller, and with La Rochelle and Southampton, which Nilsson notes retain more charm from smaller, independent yards.0:46 The boats at Cannes skew large — and expensive — making the show more spectacle than practical shopping for most Norwegian buyers, though Nilsson finds it entertaining regardless.0:10
