Aboard *keeldragger*, a Hunter 310 named *svRiff Raff* sailed a coastal passage from Los Angeles Harbor to Newport Beach, California, maintaining speeds of 5 to 6 knots under main and staysail, later adding a Yankee jib. *svRiff Raff* also participated in a transit from San Pedro, California, to White Cove on Catalina Island, motor-sailing at 6 to 8 knots in light winds.14:16
