The Rawson 30 is a masthead sloop designed by William Garden and built by Ron Rawson, Inc. from 1958 to 1984, with a long keel, an LOA of 9.3 meters, and a displacement of 5443 kg. The model was offered in several configurations, including a tall-rig sloop, a yawl conversion with a bowsprit, and a limited number of pilot house versions. Aboard *Sailing Spy*, Aaron and Allie sailed their Rawson 30, *Spy*, through the Inside Passage of Vancouver Island, navigating tidal currents and anchoring at various locations.
