It shares the same 9.0 m hull as the original Com-Pac 27, with an increased sail area of 380 sq ft, up from 328 sq ft. The boat has a 2.9 m beam, a 1.1 m draft, and displaces 2721 kg. The Com-Pac 27/3, introduced around 2010, features stainless steel hardware and portholes. Hutchins Co., based in Clearwater, Florida, has produced Com-Pac sailboats for over 50 years, focusing on trailerable, shoal-draft designs.watch The company uses hand-laid fiberglass construction and maintains in-house metal and wood shops, while hull and deck molding are subcontracted.5:51
