The Europe (INTERNATIONAL) is a 3.4 m cat-rigged dinghy designed by Pierre Marique and Alois Roland, built by Lanaverre since 1963. It evolved from the Moth development rule into a one-design class and served as an Olympic class for women sailors from 1992 to 2004. With a displacement of 44 kg, its Dbrd. Dinghy hull has a beam of 1.4 m. Aboard Sven Yrvind's vessel, Europe dinghy masts are repurposed for a four-mast arrangement, with three masts forward and one larger, stronger mast aft.2:09 G11 epoxylaminate pipes serve as mast holders for this unconventional setup, with drainage designed into their bases.6:56
