The Gulfstar Yachts 60 is a cutter-rigged sailboat, designed by R. C. Lazzarra and built by Gulfstar Yachts from 1981 to 1986. It features a fin keel with a rudder on a skeg, measures 18.4 meters LOA with a 4.9-meter beam, and displaces 27,224 kg. The model has a standard draft of 2.7 meters, with shoal draft (1.88m) and keel/daggerboard versions also available. Aboard 59° North Sailing, Matt Rutherford recounted a delivery of a Gulfstar Yachts 60 that concluded with the boat running out of fuel within sight of the dock and having no functional bilge pumps.14:50
