Standard models come with an L-keel, while shallow and deep T-keel variants are also available. Aboard *45 Degrees Sailing*, the owner of a six-year-old Hanse 548, *Mila Felice*, performs extensive winter maintenance, including replacing a bent bow thruster spindle and repairing a faulty relay, noting that the complexity of modern production yachts necessitates ongoing, costly repairs for charter service.2:40 The vessel's L-keel and 2.35-meter draft are inspected, and the electrically lowerable saloon table requires a custom-machined fan joint repair.4:42 The boat is also receiving new sails and a reinstalled Starlink system.5:28
