What the fleet has seen

The Lagoon 450, as the fleet has seen it

Derived from the videos the fleet has analysed of this model. ▶ marks open the moment aboard.

The Lagoon 450 is a 14.0-meter cruising catamaran, designed by Van Peteghem-Lauriot Prevost and Nauta Design, built by Lagoon from 2014 to the present, and available as the 450S with a sundeck or the 450F with a flybridge. Its fractional sloop rig and twin keel hull draw 1.3 meters and displace 14,959 kg. Aboard *Some Tuesday*, a six-month refit included a new windlass, dinghy, upholstery, cooktop, dishwasher, and a full electronics suite with a chartplotter-linked helm station. *Some Tuesday* sailed from California to French Polynesia, navigating a 26-knot squall and a challenging entry into Raroia Atoll, and later found a remote mooring field in Huahine.6:13 The crew of *Parlay Revival* installed Cyclops load sensors on the cap shrouds to monitor rig tension, aiming for a 5.5-ton working load to prevent bulkhead failures.watch They also repaired a Yanmar ST60 saildrive and a hull section with biaxial fiberglass. *Parlay Revival* navigated strong currents between Nusa Lembongan and Bali and later sailed the Mentawai Islands, where the crew spearfished for food and anchored meters from breaking surf.10:47
