The Lagoon 46 is a 14.0-meter fractional sloop catamaran, designed by VPLP Design and built by Lagoon since 2019, replacing the Lagoon 450.0:09 Its exterior was designed by Patrick Le Quement and its interior by Nauta Design. The mast is positioned aft over the boat's center of gravity.3:44 Aboard *reality*, the crew completed a 10-month, 6,600-mile passage to Prickly Bay, Grenada, motor-sailing with one engine at 2,000 rpm and the jib out, making 5.5–7 knots.8:43 The cockpit features a sliding bench that expands seating to 12 people, and a large opening connects it to the interior galley.1:35 The interior uses Alpi Walnut finishes and lighter flooring. Aboard *reality*, the crew noted the factory-installed hardtop roof's curved design and insufficient length made accessing the mainsail bag and reefing lines dangerous, suggesting a flatter, extended roof with a central ladder for safety and increased solar capacity.39:04 The boat is available with optional 2x 57 HP engines.
