The Lagoon 46 is a 14-meter fractional sloop catamaran, designed by VPLP Design and built by Lagoon Catamaran from 2019 to the present, replacing the Lagoon 450. It features exterior design by Patrick Le Quement and interior design by Nauta Design, with an optional 2x 57 HP engine configuration. Aboard *sailing vessel reality*, the boat completed a 6,600-mile passage to Grenada, motor-sailing at 5.5–7 knots with one engine and jib in light winds.5:10 The Lagoon 46 offers a flybridge with a hardtop and a well-designed interior, though its cockpit cushions are small and lack back support, and the chain locker can cause chain piling.9:21 For charter, it is rated 8 out of 10 for comfort, stability, and ease of handling in coastal cruising, performing well in light, downwind conditions at 5 to 7 knots under genoa alone in the Kornati Islands.19:43 Its crew cabins, however, offer no standing room, lack air conditioning, and require passing through guest cabins for bathroom access, making them unsuitable for some charter skippers.3:08 The boat's 8.0-meter beam may exceed the capacity of some travel lifts, as seen when *sailing vessel reality* investigated a haulout in Grenada.9:51
