The Morgan Yachts 41 is a 12.5-meter masthead sloop designed by Charles Morgan Jr. and built by Morgan Yachts between 1967 and 1972. It features a keel/centerboard hull, a 3.4-meter beam, a 2.9-meter draft, and displaces 8845 kg. An optional Westerbeke 4107 Diesel 40 hp engine was available. Kyle Jackney, with over 40 years in the marine industry, identifies the Morgan 41 as a good value for cruising among 1970s–80s U.S. production boats.0:03 The Morgan Out Island 41, a distinct model produced from 1970 to 1991, was also sometimes referred to as a Morgan 41; it is a full-keel, center-cockpit design known for its stability and comfort, with approximately 1,450 units built.6:32
